    What it does: In WordPress, go to Conference Hub → Settings → General, scroll to the new "Conference App" section:

    "Archive the Conference Hub app" checkbox — when checked, /hub/ (and the still-supported /2026/ alias) immediately redirect to your recap page instead of serving the live app. No plugin release needed.
    "Recap page slug" field — which page it redirects to, defaults to conference-recap, editable each year.

    Same mechanism as the /2026/ sunset, just generalized and put under your control instead of mine. Saving the checkbox flushes rewrite rules automatically, so it takes effect right away.

    Only remaining step: publish this release the same way as before — attach build-artifacts\wtxrpd-conference-hub-0.49.0.zip to a new v0.49.0 release on Forgejo, then update the plugin on the live site (and clear the update caches with WP-CLI if "Check again" doesn't pick it up, same as last time).

    Since your /hub/ is currently live and un-archived, nothing changes on the site until you actually check that new box — this update is safe to apply now and use later, whenever you close out a future conference.
